Joke

Today I flipped on ESPN and to my horror they were televising the Nathans Hot Dog eating contest from Atlantic City New Jersey, the crowd was huge, bigger than to a lot of major sporting events held around the country. The pre eat show was a joke with profiles of the eaters. If I had known that professional eating was going to become a major sport I would of trashed my diet years ago. What is next for ESPN? The professional toe nail trimming finals from Big Foot Montana?

    Eating should not be a “sport.” Just because you have a contest does not make it a sport.

    ESPN must be desperate for something to talk about this time of year. Not everyone likes baseball and what else is going on? Racing hermit crabs at the beach maybe.
