Read an article on the Forbes web site that lists the top stressful cities in America. Strangely, the one city that everyone thinks of as fun and exciting is actually the most stressful: Las Vegas.
The second most stressful is Los Angeles. Third place goes to Houston.
The “winners” were decided by an analysis of commutes times, long work hours and high unemployment.
Thought I would give a shout out to one of the pains in my butt, Lindsay Lindeman.
Years ago I met this girl at a trade show and had to talk to her about business. After a while, we decided to be friends.We’ve been through thick and thin, so to speak.
I can’t tell you how much this girl means to me – she has been an inspiration for a long time and I just wanted to acknowledge that here.

Today all the little darlings in the area are heading back to school.
For some reason they are only required to be there for one half day on the first day. Then, the next day there is not school. Then they have the weekend off. Then, finally, on Monday they have a full day and regular schedule.
What brainless twit decided to ruin a perfectly good last week of vacation with a half day of school on a Thursday? Are they that messed up running things that they need an entire day to fix all the first day’s problems that arise? This is crazy poor management. No wonder our education system is going in the toilet.
When I need to buy a gift, I have to admit that I no longer go to the mall or local stores to buy anything that has to be wrapped and shipped. I would rather just order the gift online and have it delivered right to the recipient. It usually only costs a few dollars for the shipment from their fulfilment center, as they get a bulk rate from the shippers.
I found that I can also save online by searching for an online coupon before checking out with the items in my shopping cart. Almost all online sellers have a place to enter a special code – just have to search for a discount code online and in less than a minute or two you can save a lot of money.
